As the sun slowly starts to peak in and we wave goodbye to a dark and dull February, March and all it has to offer, comes into question. As spring is up next and lockdown measures are gradually loosened, I thought it’s only right to take a deep dive into to this month’s latest trends.

Up first this March, is a vibrant and outburst of colours in order to enliven your wardrobe and mood. Make a statement by dressing head to toe in one vibrant colour of your choosing, green, yellow, red or blue, any colour so long as it is bright. Another eccentric and unique trend to play with, is adding feather to your style. Put a spring in your step with feathers and ruffles, for day or night. These latest trends have come at the perfect time, whether you’re going on your daily walk or getting outfits ready for the pubs reopening, don’t be afraid to make a statement. Not only will it brighten up your day, but it could also brighten up someone else’s day. If those outgoing trends don’t make their way into your wardrobe, how about investing in fashion and upcycling, which is another one of March’s latest trends. Whether you’re upcycling your own wardrobe or investing in pieces that have been upcycled by deadstock materials into beautiful new pieces, make sure to invest into your fashion this season.

As well the minimalist aesthetic, March also carries on fashions affair with tie-dye. Almost a year on from when tie-dye first made an impact on our wardrobes, brands like Dior are even creating boho tie-dye looks now. With brands as big as Dior endorsing tie-dye, this further influences the latest trend of upcycling and all the good it does for our planet.
